Stamping With the Stars #DOswts381 Pinwheel Inspiration

 Stamping In Savannah presents...

Welcome to another Stamping with the Stars Inspiration Hop. Pinwheel cards are so much fun to make and are MUCH easier than they look!

To make to the pinwheel that is attached to this card, you will need 2 squares of cardstock measuring 2-5/8" and 8 squares of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that measure 1-1/4".

I like using two different coordinating DSP.
1. Glue the 2 pieces of 2-5/8" squares together as shown here, one on top of the other at an angle.
2. THIS NEXT STEP IS THE HARDEST OF THE EASY STEPS! Glue ONLY the back right side of one of the DSP and glue down, leaving a border as shown. (It will make sense later on! I promise!)
3. For the next 6 squares, just alternate DSP squares, gluing completely down, leaving a borders. One will be glued like a square and the next one like a diamond.
4.  When you get to the last square, put glue on the back, but you will tuck the RIGHT SIDE under the first one.  (Now you know WHY we didn't glue the first one completely down!) After, apply a bit of glue under the left side of the first square.
Ta-Da!  You now have a beautiful pinwheel to add to a card base. (You can also watch a video on how I made this here.)

Measurements:
Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
