#DO Stamp With The Stars 416 Sketch Inspiration Hop

WELCOME BACK! to another wonderful Sketch Inspiration Hop with Dawn Olchefske's Stampin' Up! STARS! I've been away from my blog since March due to some health issues, but I am again trying to post with the Stars twice a month.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card!

This is a simple card using the beautiful colors from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper. This is such a fantastic set of paper that has a wide array of colors with which to coordinate.  I used Bubble Bath cardstock for the base and Highland Heather cardstock as a mat to the DSP, the inside panel, and the sentiment strip.

The floral elements were cut using the Textured Floral dies in Bubble Bath, Highland Heather, and Fresh Freesias cardstock as well as a few florals from our Vellum cardstock.  I completed this card with a bit of bling using Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems.

I chose to make a thank you card because I am totally OUT of thank you cards! I used the Go To Greeting cling stamp set.  This was the first time I have used these stamps, and they are AMAZING.  There are four sentiments in 3 different fonts and sizes.  I am sure I will be using this set often.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card.  I glued one of the die cut floral elements that was cut in Bubble Bath cardstock.  I love to finish the insides of the cards I make.  I also prefer to write on the white cardstock.  I think this looks so elegant.

Measurements:

Bubble Bath cardstock (base) 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”

Highland Heather cardstock (mat) 2-7/8” x 5-1/2” and (inside mat) 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”

Basic White cardstock (inside) 4” x 5-1/4”

Scrap pieces of Bubble Bath, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Vellum for floral elements.
